Week 2 1 Fantasy Question for Each Team

After whatever you want to call Week 1, I have some questions that need answered in Week 2 from all these teams!

  • Vikings: Was the rushing attack what it was because of the Bucs front?

    • We know the Bucs have a great run defense, so there is a high chance Mattison looked poor because of it. The Vikings face the Eagles, another good front. There is a good chance I am still wondering in Week 3.

  • Eagles: Goedert 0 touches a fluke or should we be worried?

    • For a man who has been on the Goedert has a chance to be a top 5 TE train this was a hard one to take. Goedert was not involved at all and currently I am not sure if this was the Pats bottling him up or something that could be a bigger problem.

  • Ravens: Who replaces Dobbins or will outside help be needed?

    • Last year the Ravens started the season running the all old RB squad. Dobbins and Edwards returned as the season progressed. Now Dobbins is out for the season yet again. Gus Edwards and Justice Hill are your 2 backs we know about. Will they be the guys or will an outside name come in to help?

  • Bengals: Burrow… you good bro?

    • Seriously, is Burrow ok? I haven’t seen a game like that from him or any QB of his caliber… ever honestly. If Burrow is still hurt will find out in Week 2.

  • Seahawks: Did Geno regress or was it week 1 rust?

    • Geno looked rough and for fantasy we need him to play much better. There are 3 pass catchers that most leagues in fantasy have rostered. Heading to the Lions for an offensive showdown should give us some idea.

  • Lions: Can the run game be more efficient?

    • Montgomery looked ok and Gibbs was fine for his first game, but for a team that relied so heavily on the run game a year ago I would assume it would get better. The Seahawks were able to stop the run and that was about it in week 1. Will see how the Lions look against the Sea Chickens.

  • Colts: Will Richardson learn to remove himself from harm?

    • Getting blasted in the 4th Quarter Richardson got to feel the power of NFL defenders. He can’t take hits like that weekly or he won’t make it through the season. Burrow had to learn his lesson the hard way, I am hoping Richardson got the message already.

  • Texans: What is Pierce?

    • Going into the year the thought was Pierce was a high volume upside RB. After Week 1 it was a medium volume low ceiling RB3.The Texans play the Colts so will see if he can get back on track.

  • Bears: Can Field become a Passing QB in the NFL?

    • Fields has DJ Moore now and that was a disaster in week 1. Fields just doesn’t look like a guy you can feel confident in when he drops back. It’s sad because I really like the player.

  • Bucs: Can they get some kind of rushing attack?

    • There is no way around it, the Bucs need to get a better rushing attack to keep winning games. Relying on Mayfield to win games is just rough weekly. Can White rush well enough to make the defense at least think about the run game.

  • Chiefs: Will a WR emerge for Fantasy?

    • Week 1 gave us no indication on what the WR room looks like. If Kelce plays we will have a better idea, but if we have to try and play a guessing game each week it’s not worth our time.

  • Jaguars: Will Kirk be a factor?

    • For someone like me who has been saying Kirk was undervalued I feel like I got kicked in the balls. Kirk was basically a nonfactor and was hardly on the field. Can Kirk be the safety blanket many of us thought he would be?

  • Packers: Can Love make pass catchers relevant week to week?

    • Week 1 we saw Doubs get a solid amount of points, but Love wasn’t asked to do a whole lot. Aaron Jones carried the load. Against the Falcons we may not get this question answered as Love might not need to do a lot this game either.

  • Falcon: Can Ridder pass the damn ball?

    • At this point it has to be a joke right? Like is Ridder not capable of throwing the ball because with a full offseason I saw no progression.

  • Raiders: How long will it take Jacobs to return to form?

    • Josh Jacobs looked like a guy who sat out for most of the offseason. Rust was at an all time high. We will see if it takes more than 1 game to start looking like himself.

  • Bills: Can Allen limit the INTs?

    • Allen made tons of poor decisions in week 1 and any fantasy owner has to be concerned by his overall play. Allen was trying to win the game far too many times with 1 play. We have seen this through the years, but overall I would assume most of us thought this was corrected.

  • Chargers: Will the run game continue to look this good?

    • I was extremely impressed with the run game for the Charges. Ekeler is not known for his rushing ability and he looked great. Kelley was out there doing things too. I am very curious to see what this looks like in Week 2.

  • Titans: Can Tannehill stop sucking?

    • It’s been 2 years since we have seen a goodish Tannehill. For Burks and Hopkins to be a weekly play we need to see a better passing game from the Titans.

  • 49ers: Is Deebo really a WR3 with upside?

    • Yeah it’s weird to say this but Deebo just doesn’t look a part of the game plan like he was before CMC. The rest of the offense looks fantastic so I am most curious about how Deebo will be used going forward.

  • Rams: Will an RB actually be able to run the damn ball well?

    • Neither Williams or Akers looked good, but Williams looked better for sure. Akers won’t be given 20 carries again if he can’t get 30 yards.

  • Giants: What does this offense actually look like?

    • You can throw the Giants week 1 performance out the window. I can’t imagine it looking worse. We weren’t able to learn anything about this offense outside their Oline can’t stop the Dallas pass rush.

  • Cardinals: Can Hollywood Brown be able to hold on until Murray returns?

    • Brown is the one WR I care about on the Cardinals and he looked fine, but not fully playable. Dobbs had only been with the team for a few weeks so it should improve. We do have to wonder if it will be enough.

  • Jets: Can Zach Wilson not suck?

    • No Rodgers so no reason to talk about him. Zach Wilson has been a disaster since he got into the league and we have to wonder if it will get any better.

  • Cowboys: What does this offense actually look like?

    • With the dominance of the defense we didn’t get a good sense of what the offense actually looks like. We should learn more at least.

  • Commanders: Can Sam Howell actually be an NFL QB?

    • There was a lot of hype around Howell being something and week 1 didn’t look great. Honestly he looked worse than most of the rookie QBs out there. Howell has weapons so there is no reason to blame anyone but him.

  • Dolphins: Can anyone stop Hill?

    • 2000 yards looks easy for Hill right now. We know as the year moves forward things will change, but man can he be stopped? Hill looked like he could do whatever he wanted too.

  • Patriots: Is Bourne a thing?

    • Mac Jones looked to Bourne 11 times in week 1. We can say it’s because Parker and Thorton were out. Jones utilized Bourne often when he was a rookie and it looks like that could continue to be good.

  • Saints: Can Carr make 3 WRs fantasy relevant weekly?

    • Week 1 it happened so he is capable of it. Olave, Shaheed, and Thomas all were playable in fantasy. Carr has been an up and down QB throughout his career.

  • Panthers: Is Hayden Hurst worth a dart throw in fantasy?

    • 1 Week isn’t really something to care much about, but 2 weeks makes it a thing. Hurst looked like Youngs go to guy when he needed to get rid of the ball.

  • Browns: Will Watson be able to pass the ball effectively?

    • The Steelers looked awful in Week 1 against the pass. Watson was known for making some incredible throws a few years back. We just haven’t seen it in recent memory.

  • Steelers: Was the Preseason a fluke?

    • The offense in the preseason for the Steelers looked so good and week 1 made everyone wonder if it was pure hype train. Pickett looked awful and Johnson is out for at least a few weeks. It’s time to see what the Steelers are.
